After announcing Vision 2030 and its initiatives to develop the third sector and its workers, and after reviewing the first initiative and the two main outcomes that resulted from it:
- Study of the training needs of workers in orphan associations
- A study measuring the impact of training on trainees
The association, after joint consultations with similar associations, decided to launch the initiative in its second edition to contribute to developing the capabilities of workers in those associations, given the difficulty of each association training its employees individually for several reasons, the most prominent of which are:
- The small number of employees in the same specialty in most associations, which ranges between 2-3 employees
- Limited financial resources allocated for training
- High training costs
The second version of the initiative has been developed by adding a forum of experiences and practices in the field of caring, rehabilitating and empowering orphans, in addition to a platform for signing partnerships, supporting initiatives, and sponsoring programs and activities directed to orphans in all orphan associations in the Kingdom, which will be designed and marketed during the period of establishing the initiative. There will be meetings and hosts directed at orphans, and these meetings aim to take place between donors and officials of orphan associations. In the Kingdom to network between orphan associations and donor institutions to achieve common goals in caring for, rehabilitating and empowering orphans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
