Within the framework of corporate social responsibility to achieve sustainable development goals and in support of the efforts of the Benaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, Al Jabr Trading Company provided 14 Kia cars at reduced prices and easy installments as a contribution to the association’s “Taxi” initiative that benefits orphans and mothers of orphans, while Al Jabr Finance Company provided financing options with low financing fees.

Al-Jabr pointed to the company’s keenness to properly direct its role and message of social responsibility in a way that serves society and has a sustainable impact, as the contribution came to the Taxi Project initiative, which serves an important group of orphans and widows, to provide them with a good source of income by working in transportation and vehicle steering services, which have developed in our current time after adding services for transporting orders using smart phone applications. The General Director of the Association, Abdullah Al-Khalidi, explained that the contribution comes from Al-Jabr Company as one of the partners of the Taxi Project,Pointing out that continuing the project will provide the beneficiaries with various sources of income that will provide them with good job opportunities, a decent life, and a safe means of transportation, and will have a positive impact on the orphan and his family.

Al-Khalidi added that the taxi initiative is in line with Vision 2030, as the association works effectively within the non-profit sector system in order to contribute to achieving the goals and programs of the vision by empowering the category of orphans, male and female, and mothers in the social services system, increasing women’s participation in the labor market, enabling corporate social responsibility and their social contribution to achieving sustainable development goals, while increasing youth’s social participation in the labor market and contributing to reducing unemployment. Al-Khalidi thanked Al-Jabr Trading Company for its response and participation in supporting the Taxi Project initiative, which reflects the keenness of those in charge of the company to make such blessed initiatives a success, aiming to serve the groups that need us to extend a helping hand and assistance in our homeland in a way that enhances the state’s efforts in this field.
