Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God protect him – a ceremony honoring the winners of the King Khalid Award for Excellence will be held this Tuesday evening. May God protect him, the Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province (Building) will be held on the occasion of its winning the King Khalid Award for Non-Profit Organizations 2016. The Society has won first place at the level of the Kingdom’s associations. The honor will be received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.The Honorable King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors.
His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province (Building) said that the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, for the King Khalid Award ceremony is a great honor for all, as this is considered a tribute from him, may God protect him, to the winners of the award and a medal on the chests of all of us. I also thank His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Asir region.Chairman of the King Khalid Award Authority for his interest in honoring non-profit organizations and honoring them in one of the branches of this award. His Highness Prince Turki added: “The association’s winning of the King Khalid Award for Non-Profit Organizations is a source of pride for the association and its employees because of the great status of this award. This victory holds us additionally responsible for developing our work and providing better services to all families benefiting from the association’s services. Also, our winning the award for the second year in a row confirms that we are moving in the right direction and are still continuing to develop in order to achieve the aspirations and hopes of orphans.
His Highness added: Today we have received this precious award and we have achieved part of our goals and we are still striving to achieve the ultimate goal, which is to provide distinguished service to orphans in all professionalism according to drawn-up plans and a clear methodology.
The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association ( Building) His Excellency Dr. Saleh Al-Yousef said: The association, praise be to God, has achieved many successes in its short life and this comes after God’s grace and the combined efforts of everyone from the board of directors and employees, in addition to the members of the community standing with the association and supporting it until it was able to achieve these successes, and God willing, the successes will continue and giving will continue to serve our orphan children.
The Director General of the Bina Association, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, said that the association, praise be to God, has achieved many successes in providing distinguished services to orphans in accordance with the goals set since the founding of the association. We at Bina do not seek to provide financial support only, but we are keen to provide quality programs and initiatives that develop and develop the talents of orphans and make them creative and active people in society, as the association sponsors more than 2,700 orphans, male and female widows, and widows in the region.Al-Sharqiyah provides them with a system of educational programs, training, rehabilitation, and qualitative services that are designed based on field studies and scientific research to keep pace with the needs and aspirations of orphans and achieve their satisfaction.
The Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province (Building) was established in the late month of Rabi’ al-Thani of the year 1431 AH at the initiative of some people interested in public affairs and some businessmen and officials in the region. Its Board of Directors is headed by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It is the only association in the region that is fully concerned with the affairs of orphans in the Eastern Province and is specialized in this field.This made it sign partnerships and many agreements with governmental and private community institutions to support projects that concern orphans out of the belief that investing in children is the ideal investment that will move the orphan from need to self-sufficiency after he obtains an amount of education that qualifies him to obtain a suitable job in the future that will take him and his family to a future and a decent life. Therefore, we are keen to provide professional services to orphans and their families in order to make them able to live a decent life and achieve the association’s mission, which is to strive for leadership and creativity to build an integrated personality.Orphans through a social system to provide comprehensive programs and services efficiently and effectively.
