Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University in Dammam honored 59 mothers and female students from the primary, middle, secondary, and university levels who are beneficiaries of the Benaa Orphan Care Association in the Eastern Province, after their participation in the English language program held at the university’s Continuing Education Center, in the presence of the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Studies, Abdul Karim Al-Huwaish, the Acting Director General of the Society, Dr. Abdullah Al-Subaie, and the Director of Program Management at the Society, Muhammad Baltoor..
Dr. Al-Subaie explained that the participants from the association’s beneficiaries passed the program at level (A1), where the duration of the level was two months. He added that during the ceremony, a sample of the students’ outputs from all stages was reviewed and speeches were heard on behalf of the students of each stage, including mothers, in English. Dr. Al-Subaie added that the students also reviewed some of the skills and knowledge they acquired during their visit.In the classrooms after the ceremony.
It is noteworthy that the program included a training course to teach the English language to mothers and students, aiming to teach and build skills in the English language and how to communicate in the areas of learning, work, and daily situations, and to contribute to enhancing the beneficiaries’ self-confidence and moving to a new stage in their life’s journey, whether academic or practical, at all stages of education from the primary stage to the university stage.
