11 male and female orphans and widows of the Bena Association for Orphan Care returned from Makkah Al-Mukarramah to Al-Sharqiya after God granted them the ability to perform Hajj this year amidst feelings of faith, thankful to God Almighty for selecting them and choosing them to perform this duty this year.
The Director General of the Association, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, explained that the total cost of the Association’s pilgrims’ trip amounted to 214,422.1riyals, and the average cost per person reached 19,493 riyals.
Al-Khalidi said that the number of widows on the Hajj trip reached 6, while the number of orphans was 3 and two orphans.
Al-Khalidi added that the association is keen every year to provide the opportunity for those who wish to perform the Hajj from the families registered with the association who have never performed Hajj, including orphans, male and female children, and widows. The association covers all costs, which are covered by members of the community who supportHajj project every year, and this comes out of the association’s keenness to enable orphans and widows to perform this duty.
On the other hand, the orphans and widows participating in the Hajj trip expressed their happiness in performing this duty, and they extended their thanks to the philanthropists who supported the project and to the Benaa Association, which enabled them to go on the Hajj trip amid high-precision preventive, precautionary and health measures to ensure their safety, asking God to reward everyone who supported and supported them with the best reward..
