His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, confirmed that “Saudi women are experiencing an unprecedented stage of empowerment in light of the historical gains they have obtained with the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect them.
His Highness pointed to the gains and achievements that have been achieved in various fields and have contributed to empowering female citizens, investing in their energies, enhancing their status, and giving themMore rights, which allowed women to play an important role in development, in order to achieve Vision 2030.
This came during His Highness’ sponsorship of the signing of a number of agreements within the “Empowerment Initiative” between the Benaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province and Al Jabr Company to provide cars for mothers, in addition to agreements with a number of applications that included enabling mothers to work in applications and giving them facilities that would enable them to succeed and enhance their participation in the labor market.
His Highness blessed these agreements. The association was represented at the signing by Engineer Khaled Al Zamil, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Al Jabr Company was represented by Mr. Abdul Salam Al Jabr, as well as a similar agreement between the Association and Walaa Company.
Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, Director General of the Association, explained in his speech during the meeting that Benaa Association, since its launch in 2010, has been keen to launch development initiatives that contribute to building the orphan’s personality, empowering him, and supporting his family.
Al-Khalidi added, “The patronage of His Highness the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province for the Empowerment Initiative, through which the Association contributes within the efforts of the non-profit sector in achieving a set of goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which charts the steps for a prosperous future for our nation.”Dear, as the association works effectively within the non-profit sector system in order to contribute to achieving the goals and programs of the vision by empowering the category of orphans, male and female, and mothers in the social services system and increasing women’s participation in the labor market.”
Al-Khalidi pointed out that the Tamkeen initiative comes to be a new addition to what we started with the aim of empowering sons, daughters and mothers to buy a new car that suits their needs to be a good source of income and a safe means of transportation and to achieve financial returns by working on order delivery applications in partnership with the private sector and supporting partners, as Your Highness kindly sponsored the signing of cooperation agreements with Al Jabr Automotive Company, our partner in providing cars for beneficiaries, male and female, as well as signing agreements with an elite group of promising applications that we look forward to working with and through them to achieve success for the beneficiary.A good income in which we maximize the value and achieve the impact of empowering them. Just as we were able to reduce the cost of obtaining a car by 42% of its cost for the beneficiaries, we, with the cooperation of our partners, will work to double the income of the beneficiary by 50%, God willing, through the Empowerment Initiative.
At the end of the ceremony, His Highness handed over the car keys to the mothers and honored the supporting entities and companies.
