Prince Turki bin Mohammed thanks the leadership for supporting the charitable sector

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, extended his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to His Highness the Crown Prince for the support received by the charitable sector in general and orphan associations in particular, which enabled the associations to develop, compete and provide better services to beneficiaries.
This came on the occasion of Bena Association winning the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in the category of charitable organizations at the bronze level, which isThis is a new achievement added to the association’s various achievements and comes in light of the unlimited support from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, which had the greatest impact on many developments witnessed by charitable societies. His Highness added that the association’s win of the award comes in appreciation of the organized work and strategic planning that the association has pursued since its inception, hoping that the new award will be an incentive for the association’s continued excellence.
The Director General of the Association, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, explained that the criteria on the basis of which the “Benaa” Association was selected included eight criteria. The first criterion was administrative leadership and included defining the strategic direction and supporting the culture of quality, excellence, creativity, governance and social responsibility. The second criterion included strategic planning and the third human resources standard and included the preparation of plans, policies and procedures for human resources, communication and participation. Al-Khalidi added that the fourth standard included partnerships and resources, the fifth included management of processes, products and services, and the sixth standard includedBeneficiary results, which included measures of the beneficiaries’ opinion and performance indicators related to them. The seventh standard was about human resources results and the eighth was about main performance results.For applying the highest standards of governance and transparency, then Al-Subaie Award for Excellence in Charitable Work, and at the Gulf level, winning the Al-Sanabel Award for Social Responsibility in Orphan Care Institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries for the year 2017, as well as obtaining the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Award for Best Charitable Performance in the Arab World, and most recently in 2019, the Pioneering Social Projects Award at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries.
