Binaa Society holds the closing ceremony of the scientific camp for orphans in the Kingdom “Misbar 6” and honors sponsors and supporters
Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province held the closing ceremony of the scientific camp for the Kingdom’s orphans, which was sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province, during the period from November 25 to December 1. It was organized by Bena Association in partnership with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, with the participation of 120 male and female students representing 26 orphan associations across the Kingdom. The celebration was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Benaa Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, Engineer Khaled Al-Zamil, the Director General of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development branch in the Eastern Province, Fahd Al-Muqbel, the Vice President of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals for Academic Affairs, Dr. Misfer Al-Zahrani, sponsors, supporters, and male and female students participating in the camp. The audience was briefed on the male and female students’ projects, then the Director General of the Abdullah Al-Khalidi Building Society delivered a speech expressing his happiness at meeting the participants in the closing ceremony for the sixth year in a row to celebrate the conclusion of the scientific camp for the Kingdom’s orphans (Mesbar 6), which received the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province, and with the support and hosting of an edifice of science and knowledge, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, which opened its doors to receive male and female students participating in this qualitative scientific gathering.It harnessed all its capabilities to make it successful and achieve its goals. Al-Khalidi added that this blessed scientific gathering would not have been possible without the grace of God and then the faith of the Board of Directors of the Bena Association, led by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association. Investing in our children is the ideal investment, and emphasizing the involvement of distinguished people from all the people of the Kingdom who represent twenty-six associations that care for orphans across the Kingdom to gain from science and knowledge, where students received various programs in different and unconventional tracks in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious vision 2030, whichIt is keen to support, train and develop the nation’s young men and women in specific fields that create the future and contribute to the advancement of our dear country in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership. Al-Khalidi pointed out that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect them - are keen to advance the non-profit sector and make it contribute effectively to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030. In line with this ambitious vision, we were keen to choose scientific tracks that keep pace with the renaissance and transformation we are experiencing so that these specializations are a starting point for our participating children by offering scientific tracks in security.Cyber, space and aviation, robotics, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and game design and development. These specializations were carefully chosen and in line with the stages of achieving the goals of the vision so that we have a generation skilled in future projects. Al-Khalidi directed his speech to the male and female students, saying: I am pleased to congratulate you on your choice to participate in this scientific gathering. This is evidence of your excellence and that you are capable of creativity in building your country. Al-Khalidi expressed his sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, for his support and interest in everything that serves orphans.
