1,360 male and female students from the Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province benefited from the school bag, supplies and uniform project campaign that the association has been launching on the occasion of the academic year.
The project aims to provide the supplies for 1,360 male and female students from families benefiting from the association’s services, in order to make it easier for them and secure all academic and office needs. This project is one of the important projects that contributes to improving the lives of the orphan and his family and empowering him by providing the school bag and the supplies it contains and school uniforms. The beneficiary male and female students are counted before the beginning of the school year, and any community member who wishes to contribute is given the opportunity to bear these costs.
The total value of the project amounted to 339,200 riyals, with 200 riyals for male students and 300 riyals for female students, to be deposited in their mothers’ accounts before the start of the academic year.
It is noteworthy that the association is also keen to register male and female students in the pre-school and kindergarten stages in private schools through educational scholarships or in general education schools, out of belief in the importance of education at this important stage, which will make the beneficiary, male and female, more distinguished in the future when he or she enters the primary education stage.
