Tomorrow, His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, will sponsor the closing ceremony of the second scientific camp for the Kingdom’s orphans (Misbar 2), which was organized by the Benaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province with the participation of 20 orphan care associations in the Kingdom. It was held at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, where 80 orphans of distinguished students in the secondary stage participated in the scientific camp.
Member of the Shura Council and Director General of the Bena Association for Orphan Care, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, thanked His Highness the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province for his sponsorship of the camp’s closing ceremony and honoring the participants and supporters, noting that the orphans participated in several important tracks consistent with the Kingdom’s ambitious vision 2030, including space and aviation sciences, innovation, robotics and Toastmaster, in addition to acquiring a number of skills in communication, dialogue, decision-making, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
He stated that the participants showed great interaction with what was presented in the camp, as this participation will have a positive impact, God willing, on their future and the achievement of their goals, in addition to the keenness to enhance the life, employment and training skills of the participants, which are in line with the skills of the twenty-first century, which opens horizons for these young people to create promising opportunities in the future, whether in university education or scientific specializations, and to contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
