The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province sponsors the second scientific camp for the Kingdom’s orphans in Dhahran
    Dammam, Rabi’ al-Akhir 17, 1440 AH, corresponding to December 24, 2018 AD His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, will sponsor next Thursday the second scientific camp for the Kingdom’s orphans, which is organized by the Benaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, with the participation of 20 orphan care associations in the Kingdom, for eight days at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. Member of the Shura Council and Director General of the Benaa Society for Orphan Care, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, expressed his thanks to His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for his sponsorship and honor of the scientific camp, which enjoys the participation of 80 scientifically distinguished orphans in the secondary stage. He added that this science camp comes as an extension of its success in its first edition, indicating that the science camp this year will include 8 scientific tracks, namely space and aviation sciences, innovation, robots, and Toastmaster, art and media, sports, and scientific experiments. Al-Khalidi stressed that the camp aims to enhance the life, career and training skills of the members of the associations, which will have an impact in opening future horizons for these young people and providing promising opportunities for them, whether in the university educational aspect and choosing scientific specializations, in addition to contributing to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
