Yesterday, the Undersecretary of the Emirate of the Eastern Province, Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Battal, inaugurated in Al-Khobar Governorate;An initiative to build the capabilities and exchange experiences of workers in orphan associations, with the participation of 24 charitable associations specializing in orphan care across the Kingdom, and sponsored electronically by “Sabq”.
The initiative is organized by the Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, “Binaa,” for the third year in a row. The initiative continues for five days, and was launched through the “Best Practices in Community Program Industry” forum, with the participation of many specialists and those interested in this aspect, and the presence of Abdul Rahman bin Fahd Al-Muqbel, Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the Eastern Region.
During the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Building Society, Dr. Saleh Al-Yousef, confirmed that one of God’s blessings upon us in this country is that we live solidarity, togetherness, interconnectedness and compassion in all its forms that Islam has urged us to, and perhaps our meeting today is one of these beautiful images.Where specialists and interested people meet for the third year in a row in the largest gathering in the Kingdom, with the participation of more than 30 speakers and the attendance of 350 people interested in charitable work.
Then, the Vice President and Director of the Al-Ahsa Region at the National Commercial Bank, Falah Al-Ahmad Al-Shammari, delivered a speech to the supporters, and then everyone watched a video film about the initiative, its goals, and the numbers of its beneficiaries.
In turn, the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the Eastern Region, Abdul Rahman Al-Muqbel, stressed in his speech the Ministry’s interest in such forums that contribute to supporting the work of associations and their development.
After that, the Secretary General of the Fathers Association for Orphan Care in the Asir region, Nasser Al Qamishan, delivered a speech to the participating associations.In it, he praised the role played by the Bena Association in organizing this large forum and bringing together all the leaders of associations specialized in orphan care in one place, asking God to achieve the goal of this initiative.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Emirate of the Eastern Province honored the supporters, partners, participating companies, and directors of the participating associations.
