3,000 orphans in Sharqia benefit from Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s project
  Dammam 22 Jumada al-Akhirah 1439 AH corresponding to March 10 2018 AD The project of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense - may God protect him - contributed to charitable societies in supporting 3,240 orphans, males and widows, who are sponsored by the Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province. Member of the Shura Council and Director General of the Benaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Region, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, explained that this generous support from His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect him - had a positive impact on the orphans and their families, and it is an investment by His Highness in orphans, male and female, as well as widows, as this support was directed to many important programs offered by the association, which are nine projects, including sponsoring 320 orphans for a full year, sponsoring 320 widows for a year, and furnishing84 houses, providing winter clothing for more than 2,000 orphans, males and widows, paying house rents for 50 families, as well as providing electrical appliances for 100 families, and helping a number of orphans to get married. He added: This support has contributed to achieving a leap in the association’s performance and has made it succeed in completing a larger number of projects supporting the orphan and his family in a short period of time. This support comes from His Highness’s belief in the importance of the third sector and considering it a major partner in achieving the Kingdom’s ambitious 2030 vision through these associations playing their developmental role and achieving progress in developing the non-profit sector. Al-Khalidi pointed out that the Bena Association for Orphan Care seeks to present many different and unconventional projects in line with the directives of the wise leadership and with the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Royal Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province. The association will continue, God willing, to provide everything that contributes to the development of orphans, male and female, and widows in the Eastern Province in particular, and cooperate with the rest of the fellow brothers working in orphan associations across the Kingdom to achieve the goal thatWe all strive to achieve this goal, which is to serve the orphan, develop him, and enhance his abilities.
