1,034 male and female students from the Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province benefited after the school bag was secured for the orphan male and female students affiliated with the association in the amount of (249,000) riyals, as the cost of the bag was 200 riyals for the male student and 300 riyals for the female student as part of the school bag project launched by the association last month.
The Director General of the Association, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, explained that the Association was keen to deposit amounts in families’ bank accounts to choose what suits them according to their needs and before the start of school. The Association was also keen to provide the opportunity for charitable people to participate in supporting seasonal projects such as school bags, Eid clothing, and winter clothing, asking God to reward everyone who contributed to these projects with the best reward.
The Saudi Investment Bank also provided 130 school bags that the bank participated in supporting orphans, which were delivered to the children by the bank’s regional director in the eastern region, Jamal Al-Thukair, at the association’s headquarters in Al-Khobar.
