A construction convoy concludes its journey after 19 days of achievements
Dammam, Dhul-Qi’dah 23, 1438 AH, corresponding to August 15, 2017 AD, SPA The Summer Building 2 convoy in Al-Khobar concluded its annual trip yesterday, which lasted 19 days, during which it visited five cities under the title “Supporting them is our duty.” The main goal of the trip, in which 28 orphans from the association participated, is to collect letters from citizens and residents in every city the convoy visits and deliver them to those stationed on the southern border, as an expression of everyone’s appreciation for the sacrifices they make to defend the homeland and protect its land and sanctities. The fifth stop of the trip was the Jazan region, where the convoy visited those stationed at the southern border, represented by the leadership of the Jazan Force. The Bina convoy was received by the acting commander of the Jazan Force, Major General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, who welcomed them, praising this initiative from the Bina Association for Orphan Care. Then he briefed the participants in the summer convoy on the types of weapons, mechanisms and aircraft that the Saudi forces possess, and listened to an explanation about the weapons. Then he visited the participants inThe convoy of wounded soldiers gave them flowers and gifts and conveyed to them messages from citizens and their prayers for their speedy recovery and that they would return to their families safely after achieving victory, God willing. The Director General of the Benaa Association, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, stated that the Benaa Summer Trip achieved its goals and covered approximately 4,000 km. He thanked everyone who contributed and supported this convoy in achieving its goals.
