On behalf of Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Advisor at the Royal Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province (Benaa), Sheikh Dr. Saleh Al-Yousef, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, chaired the sixth General Assembly meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Eastern Chamber.
At the beginning of the meeting, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, Member of the Shura Council and Director-General of the Association, reviewed the Association’s annual report for the year 2016 AD and the operational plan and budget for the year 2017 AD.The members were also briefed on the most important achievements achieved during the past fiscal year.
Al-Yousef conveyed the greetings of Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to the attendees, and stressed His Highness’s interest in developing the work of the association according to a systematic plan.To achieve success standards that will be in the interest of orphans and their families, and to develop the services provided to them.
Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, a member of the Shura Council and Director-General of the Association, confirmed that the Association during the past year was proceeding according to a plan, implemented in quarterly stages, and it was successful - praise be to God.
Al-Khalidi added that the plan for the current year included many development projects, which will have a positive impact on the association’s services and what it will provide to orphans and their families - God willing.
